Every story kept my interest! I found myself miles down the road from where I started, and it felt like the time just flew by! Great narrator in Mr. Malcolm, and great acting and voice talent throughout the compilation! Enjoy your work, enjoy your life, give them a listen! Dreadtime Stories is a dramatized series of multiple short stories developed as a radio program format that was originally a podcast. It was very well performed and a genius idea as a podcast. This installment was very entertaining due to the dramatization and sound effects.
The stories themselves, while original, are fairly average, good but not great. Very disappointed with this book. Thought I was going to read scary short stories. Instead, it was just 1 gory story after the next. I guess they don't have the talent to write a scary story. Production quality is par excellent. The stories are often predictable, but are still fun.
While I did not care so much for the first and last story, none of these stories are bad. The four in the middle are good to really good. Thoroughly enjoyed these, definitely add this to your short Story collection. Malcolm McDonald, his name alone speaks volume.
